Rules regarding School Transport

1. Police DAV Public School provides safe and reliable bus transportation to the students who wish to avail this facility. The buses are GPS enabled and under CCTV surveillance.

2. Transport facility will be made available only on specified routes and designated stops where students will be picked/dropped only at the allotted bus stops decided by the school authorities. Temporary change of routes for few days CANNOT be allowed under any circumstance(s).

3. Change of transport route cannot be claimed as a matter of right. This will ONLY be allowed subject to availability of the seat in desired bus route.

4. The school does NOT extend door to door facility and the school transport CANNOT be claimed as a right.

5. School Transport will only be provided in the regular school timings and on working days. It will not be available on school functions/holidays.

6. Transport fee will be charged for 12 months. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The transport facility cannot be availed / withdrawn in the mid of the month. Full month fare will be charged if the service is withdrawn due to any reason.

7. No student is allowed to use School Transport one way. In every case transport fee will be charged for both ways. 8. Students desirous to avail the transport facility provided by the School may apply in a prescribed form available at the school office.

9. Parents desiring to discontinue the transport service are required to intimate to the office in writing at least 1 month in advance. For any change in the bus arrangement, a written request stating adequate reason should be informed at the School Office/Transport In-charge.

10. The bus will not wait for late comers. Arguing of parents with the driver/helper for alteration of marked Drop/Pick up points is NOT allowed.

11. Only the students who are availing the school transport facility are permitted to travel in the school transport at the stipulated time. In case the child is dropped/picked by the parents from the school before the stipulated time, the fact must be brought to the notice of the School Office/Transport In-Charge.

12. In case any student does any kind of damage to the school transport, creates indiscipline or manhandling of the School staff is done by any parent or guardian under any circumstance, the school reserves the right to immediately withdraw the school transport facility and take adequate action.
